We ship all products first class in the UK, unless Special Delivery is chosen.

How do I know you are trustworthy?

We are a small business based in East Yorkshire and we have served over 6,500 customers since our first publication in 2007.  We use secure payment providers including Sagepay and Barclaycard Merchant Services and we have a trade account with Michelin, they all do rigorous checks on us before they will supply us with their products and services.

Most of all though we want you to be happy, long term customers of Mapsman and also for you tell your friends about us, so we will always try to deliver the best customer service and deal with you fairly!

Our best references are our existing customers who have kindly written in to thank us even when we have messed up, (which like everyone we occasionally do).

How do you secure payment details?

We use Sagepay as our secure payment providers and your details are entered directly onto their secure servers and we accept the following payment methods through them:

What are your delivery times?

We take pride in our prompt despatch and the majority of orders are posted first class on the day of order, when ordered before 15:00 on weekdays and before 10:00 on Saturdays, with no posting on Sunday.

We will email you to let you know that your order has been shipped so you can look out for it, or alternatively you can log on and track your order.

To ensure your purchases arrive safely we often use signed for services even when they haven't been specifically chosen by you. These services mean that someone needs to be at the specified delivery address to receive and sign for the delivery.  We provide alternate delivery addresses if it is more convenient to deliver to a work address.

What happens if my order hasnít arrived?

If your order has not arrived in the timescale you expect and you have received our email saying that your order has been posted, or you have logged on and your order history says the order has been shipped then please contact us immediately on 01932 560938.


Why Buy More... Multiple Purchases?

There is a major benefit in purchasing more than one product at a time, as the postage will stay the same!  For example if you live in the UK and buy 10 folded maps the postage will still be £2.49.

Do you offer an urgent delivery service?

If you require an order urgently and live in the UK then we can sometimes offer a special delivery service using Royal Mail: if ordered before 2:30pm Mon-Fri it will be delivered before 1:00pm the next day please call us for availability.

What happens if I am unhappy with my purchase?

Occasionally, we know that you may want to return items and very occasionally items maybe faulty or we might mess up.

That's why we offer a 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed, returns policy.

We hope you will be very happy with your purchase but if for any reason you aren't, then at anytime within 30 days from your order or delivery you can

1) Cancel the order if we haven't shipped it,


2) If we have shipped it, then contact us to let us know you will be returning an item and then post it back to us in its original condition.

To contact us please email us service @ or call us on 01482 871756.  When you email or call, please have the reason for the return, your name and if possible your order reference number from your electronic receipt.

When you send the product back to us please make sure you have packaged the item securely and if possible enclose a copy of the electronic receipt and/or your name and address details.

If we do not receive the item back from you, then, we may not be able to refund you so you please consider registered post.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of an order, which we haven't shipped then we will refund you for the purchase.

When we have received items back in their original condition then we will refund you and also give you a postage credit against your next purchase to cover the cost of posting items back to us.

If the item is faulty or if we have messed up then we will liaise with you to get the item back at our expense and either exchange it or refund you as you wish.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of Garmin Map Products then these are NON returnable if they have been opened,  as we cannot re use them, return them or resell them. If they are faulty then, of course, we will replace them.

How do I place an order online?

Find the product that you want, and press the "Add to basket" button.

This will transfer details of the product to your Shopping Basket (top right).

When you have completed your shopping (remember to benefit from multiple purchases) click on shopping basket to see what you have in it.

Choose Delivery method

When you are happy then continue to Checkout

Add your contact details and choose your delivery address if the same as billing address then click to automatically fill it in.

Once delivery details are completed, press to confirm order.

If you are happy with the order and the delivery details the "proceed to payment" button you will be transferred to the secure Sagepay payment servers for your credit card details to be taken and the order completed.

Please print relevant copies of the confirmation page as a receipt although you will receive a confirmation e-mail message from Mapsman confirming the full details of your order.

Should you not receive this, it may be that any spam software that you may be using has moved your confirmation email to the spam box. In which case you can log on and look at "order history" to look at the status of your order.

You will be given a unique Order ID that will allow you to track the status of your order on-line.

How do I place an order over the phone?

Simply call us on 01932 560938 and we will be happy to take your order or answer your questions.

We are open for phone calls during normal office hours with an answering machine 24hrs per day.

Sometimes we might miss your call, if so please do leave a message with a number and we will get back to you promptly.


Order Payment

We are able to accept payment by credit or debit cards and PAYPAL online through secure servers at Sagepay or by telephone on 01932 560938, we also accept postal orders and personal cheques made payable to CC5 Ventures Ltd.


Orders and Fraudulent Activity

Unfortunately, in today's society there are people who use credit and debit cards to obtain products fraudulently.

We use fraud protection software which highlights the risk of fraud to us and on occasions we might use that information to ask you for more details before we ship goods to you. We might also refuse to ship goods to you on the basis of this information or if we believe there is something wrong with the order. 

If we ask for more details please do not be offended as we are protecting you and ourselves from these criminals.

Any fraudulent activity will be reported to the Police and acted upon!
