Mad Maps Scenic Road Trips
New England [USRT220]
Remember all of those classes in school where you learned about the American Revolution? Now that you’re all grown up (kinda), don’t you think it’s time to see those storied locales for yourself? There’s nowhere else in the country where so many towns are as steeped in history as in the six New England states. Our 33 scenic tours, with detailed turn-by-turn directions, offer the best of this amazing region. That means everything from the mountains of Vermont, lumber villages of Maine and lake regions of New Hampshire to idyllic Connecticut white-picket-fence homes, Rhode Island’s jazzy Newport and the windswept shores of Massachusetts’ Cape Cod. Our local scouts have deep roots in New England, and we’ve benefited from their insider knowledge. These scouts have even compiled lists of the best things to do along the way. Add to that our quirky "It's a MAD World” stories—more colourful than a New England maple tree in the fall—and you’ll realize that this sure isn’t your seventh grade American History class!
It’s time to ride the steep grades and make the grade in New England.
