White Rose Tour 4 Norway
Mapsman have teamed up with fellow adventurers and motorcycle touring company White Rose Tours to provide a suggestion of maps and guides to accompany their tours for 2018.
To be expected from a quality tour operator White Rose Tours do provide detailed turn by turn instructions and GPS maps for the tour but we believe it is always useful to have a map as well.
Our suggestions for this tour are:

Great roads and fantastic scenery amongst the Mountains and fjords of Norway
This will be out third visit to Norway, each time we visit we learn a little more, and tweak the itinerary to pack in as much as possible. We will move daily with the exception of 2 x 2 night stops, one in Geirangerfjord and a second in Voss. This will give us the opportunity to unpack and have ride-outs to explore areas in more detail. We will also visit a new area - Rogaland - in the Southwest.
Riders should be aware that since the Harwich-Esbjerg ferry stopped operating, it is necessary to maximise our time in Norway by riding across Holland, Germany and Denmark using predominantly motorways. Nobody’s favourite, but it gets the job done. Although this tour is fully escorted, we suggest this tour is only suitable for experienced riders and pillions that have travelled on the continent before, can navigate independently, and have a head for heights!
The reward comes in the form of the shear magnificence of Norway with its vast landscapes, scenic Fjords and incredible roads. It really deserves its reputation of being one of the top places to visit in the World and I am already looking forward to returning there in 2018.
