To be expected from a quality tour operator White Rose Tours do provide detailed turn by turn instructions and GPS maps for the tour but we believe it is always useful to have a map as well.
Our suggestion for this tour is

A great tour of the Highlands & Islands of Scotland along the North Coast 500 Route
A number of customers have asked us about the North Coast 500 route - we have actually been riding this route for years, but clever marketing by the Scottish Tourist Board has made this the route to ride, and we can't disagree....
Our tour starts at 4 star hotel just inside the English Border, from where we take an clockwise route through Galloway & Dumfries, up the Ayrshire coast, over the Clyde to the shores of Loch Fyne. The tour continues with the choice of riding the Argyll coastline or through Glencoe to an overnight at a 4 star hotel in Fort William. Passing the famous Eilean Donan Castle we pick up the NC500 at Loch Carron. Applecross peninsula is next before passing Gairloch to our next over night stay in Ullapool.
We follow the NC500as it continues through Sutherland and across the top of Scotland to the famous John O'Groats. From here we head south down the East Coast for an overnight stop near Dornoch.
Passing Inverness we cross into the heart of the Highlands to ride over the Cairngorms and into Royal Deeside. A scenic cross country route then takes us past the famous Knockhill race circuit and Gleneagles before bypassing Edinburgh to enter the Borders.
If the North Coast 500 is on your bucket list then this is an excellent opportunity to do it, the popularity of the route is making getting accommodation difficult, so we are delighted that we have been able to find some quality hotels for you, four of which are 4 star. Although classified as an escorted tour, for those that wish, or are new to touring, there is the opportunity to ride with your escorts, Roy and Alison, who are no strangers to Scotland and are happy to guide you each step of the way.
