To be expected from a quality tour operator, White Rose Tours provide detailed turn by turn instructions and GPS maps for the tour but we believe it is always useful to have a map or two as well.

We understand that for some finding time to 'get away' can be difficult, and so we have created a weekend to weekend 8 night tour of some of our favourite areas in Germany.
Having crossed into the Champagne region we take to the back roads and into the Vosges Mountains to ride some of the 'Route des Cretes'. This road, most of which is above 3000ft, was mainly built to supply front line French troops during WW1. However, due to its twisty undulating nature, has today, become a mecca for motorcyclists. Fom the high Cols you can enjoy views across the Alsace plains to our next destination, the German Black Forest.
The Schwarzwaldhochstratte (literally the Black Forest High Street ) known to bikers as the B500 has become one of those iconic roads everyone wants to ride. Although now rather a victim of its own success you will have opportunity to ride this and many other great Black Forest roads during your stay.
Our next destination is no stranger to us as we return to one of our favourite parts of Germany, the Rhineland. Dominated by the two river valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, the area has a climate perfect for wine growing, the steep river valley walls being dotted with vineyards, which have produced fine wines since Roman times. Riding the riverside valleys, you pass through chocolate box villages with their half-timbered houses, guarded from above by 'Fairy Tale' castles, unchanged since medieval times.
Overdosed on scenery? Then time to leave the valley behind and take the well-surfaced twisting roads to the heights above. There really are some great biking roads in this area, with everything from long sweeping bends across open farmland, to demanding forest hairpins. Time to take a break with a visit to the famous Nurburgring racing circuit - no wonder this is the playground for so many European bikers.
This tour will suit all riders, but is also an excellent opportunity for those riders and pillions who are perhaps venturing onto the continent for the first time. Although this is an escorted tour, as always, there is the opportunity to ride with your escort, who will guide you each step of the way.
Note: Although we have done our best to keep costs down, this is “High Season” and the hotels/ferries increase their prices accordingly.
